What sets us apart as a team is that we all started our careers in mainstream corporate jobs. We worked with large companies, learnt a lot and lived comfortably at a fairly young age. Each of us had our moment when we felt that this was not all that we wanted out of our lives. We saw that our trailblazing (?) GDP growth is lopsided and will take forever to trickle down to the 700 odd million who we call ‘the rest of India’. We need to create jobs where people live without displacing them, preserve skills that can help generate incomes, create channels for transparent & fair market access and preserve our fragile environment.
And we chose (wisely or otherwise!) that it was time for us to step in and find real life solutions to these challenges. It’s been an exciting and fulfilling experience so far….and the journey has just about begun.
